GSN Announces World Poker Tour Schedule |

“The WPT is one of the strongest brands on television, and poker fans will enjoy the action every Monday night on GSN," said Jamie Roberts, Senior Vice President of Programming, GSN. Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten return for their sixth season of broadcasting World Poker Tour action. The new hostess is Layla Kayleigh who has previously been on G4 and Fox Sports Net. GSN will also have an online hostess, Kimberly Lansing, who will be doing behind the scenes coverage of the action. GSN will televise tournaments from around the world beginning in Las Vegas and continuing from Barcelona, Spain; Turks and Caicos Islands in the British West Indies; and Niagara Falls, Canada. The WPT schedule starts in Las Vegas with two events and continues with a stop at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, Foxwoods Casino Resort in Mashantucket, Connecticut and other great spots. The sixth season of WPT action has some great action including the Foxwood World Poker Finals, the North American Poker Classic, the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond Poker Classic and the WPT World Championship which will air August 25th. GSN will also broadcast encore showings Mondays at Midnight Eastern and Pacific and on the following Sunday nights from 7 to 9 pm. The WPT has had over 100 episodes on the air and awarded over $300 million in cash. |
