Omaha High Poker

Download NowOmaha high poker is another fast paced and adrenaline driven nine card poker game. Similar to Texas Holdem, Omaha high is a community card game.

Omaha high community cards are cards that are dealt face up in the middle of the table and can be used by all poker players in conjunction with their hole cards to make a five card poker hand.

In a game of Omaha high poker, each player is dealt four hole cards instead of the regular two like in Texas Holdem but poker players may only use two of the four hole cards and three cards from the board. The winning player will have the strongest hand found by combining only two of their pocket cards and the community cards. You can win the hand from both your pocket cards and three community cards or simply one pocket card and four community cards.

Because there are nine cards to choose from in omaha poker, winning hands tend to be high. If you are at a table with a lot of poker players (eight to ten), it is very common for someone to have the nuts in Omaha poker which is the best possible hand. If you have a good hand, but not the best always be careful.

Pot Limit and No Limit Omaha Poker

Pot Limit and No Limit Omaha poker are two other variations of this poker game. The rules are pretty much the same except for betting.

Head-to-Head Omaha Poker

This variation of Omaha poker allows you to pit your skills against just one other online player. Our poker room enforces the traditional special Blinds rule for one-on-one Holdem, whether at one of our special two seat tables or at a larger table at which only two players are seated. Only in head-to-head poker, the blinds are handled differently than you might expect.

The small blind is posted by the dealer, rather than the player to the left of the dealer. The other player posts the big blind. On our poker tables that support more than two players, our system will switch to head-to-head rules whenever there are only two players dealt in.

Omaha Poker Tournaments

Poker Host offers both single table and multi-table Omaha High poker tournaments. Online poker tournaments are an exciting way to play your favorite variety of poker games.
