If you watch world class poker players on TV you will find that the player who wins usually made the fewest poker mistakes. Or he got lucky.

Another big mistake that is basic, yet repeated over and over is not protecting a big hand. If you want to slow play aces, kings, queens or jacks then you get what you deserve when someone draws out on you. If you leave players in the hand for a cheap price then big hands can be beaten. Bet those big hands and avoid another common mistake.
