The best poker players that have been around awhile have seen all types of players: weak players, strong players, players who get mad easily, and players that never seem to learn that an 8-4 offsuit is just not that great of a hand.
The popularity of Texas Holdem and especially of No-Limit Texas Holdem has brought the sport into our living rooms, and we have been able to follow some of the greats of the game. Playing Texas Holdem online has changed the face of the game somewhat, but there are still some traits that top players have that allow them to consistently beat the game.

When choosing a poker table for a Texas Holdem poker game, be it Limit or No Limit, there is far more to what goes into an intelligent choice than a comfortable seat that meets the eye. To a sophisticated Texas Holdem poker player you are not looking for just a poker table but for a place to dominate and exploit. You should ask yourself when looking for a poker table whether it is weak or strong? It isn’t enough that you were able to determine whether the table is loose or tight, (that’s only one part of the equation), but it is also imperative to judge the quality of play and players at the poker table and then evaluate it against your comfort zone and skill level. |
