In No-Limit Texas Holdem poker one of the most popular and yet effective forms of strategy that is employed is the “slowplay” in which when a player has a power poker hand, he will not immediately bet a lot of poker chips but instead play it quiet, as if his poker hand is weak, attempting to suck in additional money from the other players.

When you play Texas Holdem poker at online poker sites you are going to be dealt two pocket cards and most of the time they are not going to be any good. Sometimes though you will be dealt pocket pairs and as good as they look they may also not be very good.
