 Meet Steven Thompson - Poker Pro
Steven is native from Costa Rica and has been playing poker for the last 2 years. He has not been on the poker pro path for long but has already proven he has the skills it takes to be a poker pro.
Steven has earned respect at the tables with his aggressive and cold game style which has made him look like a top notch poker pro.
Steven started his live poker career by finishing up on a final table in the LAPT San Jose Season 1, against all odds.
Unfortunately Steven was taken out in the 9th place, not bad for a new poker pro. He has played since then the EPT Barcelona, the LAPT San Jose Season 2 and the LAPT Nuevo Vallarta.
This last tournament was cancelled due to a misunderstanding with the Mexican authorities. However, he managed to get into the top 10 and qualifying to the final table to be played during the LAPT Chile event.
For this new season, he will be participating in the PCA Bahamas and we’ll see what the future awaits.
