Harrah's Entertainment announced that the 39th annual of the series will again be held at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from May 30th through July 17th, 2008. The World Series of Poker is the most popular poker tournament in the world and the one many players wait for all year. The Rio is hoping that opening the room early next year will alleviate some of the registration problems in the 2007 Series.
