sf-deal-it-twice

Here at Poker Host we have implemented Deal It Twice. As its name suggests deal it twice is a feature that allows you to deal the cards twice. It is a feature that is seeing increased popularity in live cash games, and brings a whole new dynamic to the game. It will give “all in” players the option to deal the turn and river cards twice. Both players must consent; if one does not, then the turn and river will be dealt as normal.

Example:

Player Jack is dealt Qh Jh and player Jill is dealt Ks 10d. Both players bet in the first round, and all others fold. The flop falls down Js Ad 10d. Jill moves all in and Jack calls.

By dealing the turn and the river twice, both players are presented with more chances to hit more outs and make a better hand. On the other hand the other player also has the same odds off improving.

The first turn and river show Jd 2s.

The second deal brings a Qd and 6d

In this instance both players have each won. The pot is then split. However if one player won both of deals then they would win the pot.

Why use it: When making a big call with a lot of chips on the line; deal it twice provides a safety net of sorts. If both players are unsure about the value of their hand compared to their opponents they may wish to deal it twice in an effort to protect their bet. It is an excellent way of avoiding being 'rivered'.
