Mike Vela took home over $1.7 million dollars by winning the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods. Vela was able to defeat a final table that included last year’s champ Nenad Medic and poker pro Mark Weitzman. The final table also included Nick Schulman, who won this event two years ago and Tom Dwan who is a top online cash game player.
